Reviews
French onion soup is very bland, more soggy croutons in the soup than onions, should be called French Crouton Soup.
Wings overrated: Got Smitty Hot wings , total garbage basic wings with franks red hot sauce.
Over hyped and over priced
I had a really good experience at Doc Sullivan’s. The place was slammed but it didn’t stop the bartenders from having a good time and messing with everyone at the bar.
Also some of the best wings I’ve had in a minute. Buffalo is known for the “Beef on Weck” and wings. Doc’s had the brilliant idea of pairing the two together. The wings were a perfect size with the perfect ratio of crispiness and wetness. The sauce was super flavorful.
The burgers and fries are very good. The draft beer was warm. The beer battered fish tasted like it was fried in industrial cleaner. Seriously! The fish tasted like it was fried in restroom hand soap!
It is a shame this place is selling itself as an Irish pub. Someone in charge needs to visit Dublin!
Doc’s is great. Hands down, the best Burgers in WNY! Smitty wings live up to their reputation. Some of the best wings you’ll get. Definitely rivals some of the better wing spots in Buffalo. Their signature fries were also great. Cool atmosphere too
The wings are large and have a fantastic crisp to them! The Blue cheese is nice and thick. Probably some of the best wings I’ve had. The smitty wings with medium sauce is tasty and not spicy at all. The atmosphere was great, old building and sporty vibes. TV’s everywhere with a great layout. Service = 4 - Waited a long time for food being one table of four at 130pm, not much going on. No refills on drinks and ordering 10 wings seemed like a waste of time for waitress. Overall I would go back to Docs, Kudos to the kitchen staff!
Came here with a coworker. Had a really nice lunch. I loved their wings, fries were good. Did not like the Bleu cheese at all. But the wings were really good. Had the regular hot wings, and the golden BBQ. They were both incredible. Not my absolute favorite in Buffalo but instantly one of the top 10. Just the right amount of delicious sauces and still nice and crispy, plump, and juicy. Will definitely be back here.
The winds are phenomenal. Actually all the food is. Dope Irish bar in South Buffalo. I bet St Pattys day is unreal!
Just couldn't get enough wings while in Buffalo so we headed to Doc Sullivan's. We had some Smitty style wings. Not sure what that means but they were tasty. Add a couple of beers and it was perfect. The wait was a little long, but worth it for the wings.
